Supply Teaching Assistants Required – Primary Schools | SW London & Surrey

Daily Supply & Long-Term Opportunities Available


Are you a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across South West London and Surrey? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools.


We have opportunities available for:


Daily Supply – Flexible, short-notice bookings to suit your availability

Short-Term Cover – Block bookings supporting classes or specific pupils

Long-Term Roles – Ongoing positions, including general classroom TA and 1:1 SEND support

Whether you are seeking full-time work or part-time flexibility, we can offer roles that fit around your schedule and experience.


The Role:


Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 within the classroom

Provide one-to-one or small group support, including for children with additional needs

Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom preparation

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

Long-term roles may include leading interventions, supporting phonics and reading groups, and contributing to planning and pupil progress monitoring.


Requirements:


Previous experience working in a primary school or early years setting

A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

Good communication and teamwork skills

Confidence supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ in Childcare, or a degree in Education are advantageous but not essential for experienced candidates.
